Marine Weather Intelligence participated in GITEX Global 2025 in Dubai alongside eight other European deeptech startups, showcasing its AI-driven maritime routing technology to over 200,000 visitors.

A Vibrant Hub for Innovation

Marine Weather Intelligence participated in GITEX Global 2025 in Dubai from October 12–15, joining the ZEBOX delegation alongside eight other European deeptech startups. The event attracted over 200,000 visitors and 1,500 investors from around the globe.

MWI in the Spotlight on BFM Business

CEO Christian Dumard appeared on BFM Business – TECH&CO to discuss the company’s maritime routing technology. He characterised Marine Weather Intelligence as “a sort of Waze for the sea,” combining artificial intelligence, satellite data, and oceanographic models to provide real-time insights for route optimisation, safety improvements, and fuel consumption reduction.

“Our aim is to make life easier for captains and crews,” Dumard explained, emphasising how the technology forecasts weather patterns and helps vessels avoid hazardous conditions.

Building Partnerships

During the exhibition, leadership engaged with potential partners and clients from the offshore energy and superyacht sectors to explore future collaborations.

Marine Weather Intelligence has existing partnerships with IFREMER and the European Space Agency, and continues expanding its international network.
